A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis examined 23 randomized studies involving 729 children with cerebral palsy. Whole-body vibration was associated with improvements in walking speed, Timed Up & Go performance, gross motor function and postural stability. The researchers noted that the certainty of the evidence was low or very low and recommended additional well-designed trials.
