A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis examined six randomized controlled trials involving 202 older adults with sarcopenia. Whole-body vibration training significantly improved lower-limb muscle strength and physical performance. The researchers concluded that WBV may be a feasible addition to conventional exercise, particularly for people with limited exercise tolerance.
