A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis examined 14 randomized controlled trials involving 490 adults. The effects appeared greater in people with higher starting blood pressure and in overweight or obese adults. The researchers concluded that WBV may have potential as a supportive exercise approach for cardiovascular health.
